During the course of 2024 a continuous need for clarification of technical information is expected and it is to the benefit of both Albania and the EU to establish an accurate basis for negotiations of these two important, and expensive, directives. 

AKUM will require a pool of specialist expertise to be available for consultation until the end of December 2024. The experts will be covering flexibly according to the upcoming needs the expected technical questions relating to EU accession and approximation for the Drinking Water and Wastewater sub-sectors.
